Information for International Travelers
The SGSMA 2026 International Conference will be held in Chile, a country with excellent international air connectivity. Most international attendees will arrive via:
🛬 Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport (SCL) – Santiago, Chile
Also known as Santiago Airport, it is located approximately 20 km from downtown Santiago and offers direct flights from key cities in the Americas, Europe, and Oceania.
From the airport, attendees will be able to reach the conference venue (exact location to be announced soon) using the following options:
🚖 Transportation Options from the Airport:

Official taxi: available at the airport; fixed rates starting from ~$25,000 CLP (approx. USD $27).

Ride-hailing apps: Uber, DiDi, and Cabify operate in Santiago with similar or slightly lower rates.

Shared shuttle services: group transfers to major hotels in Santiago (~$8,000 CLP or USD $9).

Public transportation:

CentroPuerto or TurBus Aeropuerto buses to Los Héroes metro station (~$2,000 CLP).

From there, you can continue using the Santiago Metro, one of the most modern in Latin America.
