Call for Panels

The SGSMA 2026 International Conference will serve as a premier venue for presenting the latest developments in research and technological innovation related to synchronized measurements and analytics for smart grids.

The conference will bring together a truly international audience of leading experts from academia, research institutions, and industry, fostering the exchange of ideas and collaborative opportunities across the global power systems community.

In this context, SGSMA 2026 invites proposals for insightful and forward-looking panel sessions that address key challenges and emerging opportunities in the field of synchronized measurements and smart grid analytics.

🧩 Panel Format & Scope

Each panel session will be 1.5 hours in total:

  • 1 hour for presentations and moderated discussion

  • 30 minutes for audience Q&A

Panels should include:

  • 1 panel chair

  • Up to 4 panelists (maximum of 5 participants total)

Topics should focus on current research directions, real-world applications, and cross-sector collaboration opportunities. Suggested topics should align with the SGSMA 2026 Call for Papers.

🎤 Panelist Profile

Panelists must be recognized leaders in their field, with demonstrated expertise and a strong track record of engaging in high-level discussions. Ideal candidates represent:

  • Industry

  • Government agencies

  • Leading research institutions
